Polymer clay, acrylic paint, glitter glue, assorted beads and rhinestones

This sculpture is an exploration of the glamorization of physical violence in film and TV. Blood seeping from bruised knuckles mixes with bright purple paint as though the two liquids are one and the same; pearlescent gems adorn the skin alongside scrapes and cuts.
