Accoutrements

Accoutrements is an exploration in clay and wire examining the exploitation of exotic animals in the illegal fur and pet trade. A structure resembling a spine, or perhaps teeth, hangs lifelessly from a pair of silver bangles, with pink eviscerated organs dangling below in abstracted swirls. Bright scraps of jewelry glitter beneath the viscera.
